Looking for a training treat for your puppy? we use very thin slivers  (dime size, or less for tiny puppies)  of cold hot dog. Puppies love them

Want to make your own treats? When we train,  this is   our "bait" recipe.    First, boil a piece  of beef liver, covered,  in a little water until done. (no seasoning needed) Then, chop the cooked liver into small pieces and bake in a 350 oven until very dry. Break the dry pieces into still even smaller pieces, and store in the freezer.  Adult dogs adore these "liver-snappers",  ...just dont give more then a tiny amount, as they can have a stool-softening effect!
